Join us for a night of giving back November 3rd from 7-9pm at A Precious Child 557 Burbank St., Unit E Broomfield, CO 80020.

Precious Child is a 501c3 nonprofit organization devoted to making a positive impact in the lives of disadvantaged and displaced children and families in Colorado by improving their quality of life. Programs include Precious Essentials, Precious Boutiques, Basics 4 Babies, giveSPORTS, Fill A Backpack, Precious Gift, Truancy Intervention and The Learning Center. A Precious Child gives impoverished children and families life’s most basic essentials in the form of clothing, shoes, baby food, diapers, coats, backpacks, school supplies, sports equipment, holiday gifts, and more. Over the last five years, A Precious Child has provided clothing and essentials to more than 82,000 children and families who are struggling during these difficult economic times in eight counties surrounding the Denver Metro area, including: Arapahoe, Adams, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, Jefferson, and Weld Counties.

Instead of a typical monthly meeting, Darling Doubles will be assisting A Precious Child in preparing for their Precious Gift program.  The goal of this program is to serve 6,500 children that are not able to celebrate the holidays otherwise.  Darling Doubles will be creating tags for the Giving Tree program. For those interested, there will be an opportunity to learn how to sponsor a child, background information about that child and what is on that child’s “wish list” and what they need through this holiday season.
