Stressed mom

As we dive into the New Year, exercise and physical health may be on your mind. Let’s not forget that mental health is a part of your overall health, too, and especially important for moms! Mark your calendars for our meeting on Monday, March 7 at Cross of Christ Church (12099 Lowell Blvd, Broomfield, CO 80020) and come to learn about maternal mental health and how to take care of it and yourself. You could be six months out from having your babies or six years out from having your babies, and it is still important to take care of yourself and your postpartum health. This will also be a great place to learn about symptoms of depression and anxiety, as well as how to be a support for your Mommy friends.

Our very special speaker this month will be Mary Schroeter. Mary began her private practice, Integrative Pathways Counseling, in 2012. She has an Expert Clinician Certificate from the Postpartum Stress Institute in Pennsylvania and currently leads several Women’s Health classes at Sweet Beginnings in Littleton. Mary is going to share with us some of her knowledge and experience with postpartum mental health, including ways to cope and resources we can use to help ourselves and our Mommy friends.

We hope you can join us for what is sure to be a very informative and helpful meeting for every Mommy in our club!
