Ray Lincoln is The InnerKinetics® Coach and founder of Ray W. Lincoln & Associates and Ray Lincoln Ministries. He is an international coach and speaker and a member of the National Speakers Association. He is also the author of the bestseller, I’m a Keeper, a book that is being used in 9 countries and is receiving rave reviews from parents, teachers, psychologists and other professionals. It teaches parents the most important skill they must have for successful parenting: how to understand your child.
On January 5, 2015, 7pm, at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, Ray will be speaking about how to teach your child intelligent emotions. The ability to control one’s self and make good choices is all about intelligent emotions. Make your life easier and your child’s life more peaceful, patient, and confident.
Learn to control that tantrum in each child according to its temperament. Remember, tantrums don’t end at 6 or 9 or even 18. Give your child and yourself a great gift and learn how to develop intelligent emotions yourself. You will learn how to train them in delayed gratification and emotional management. Ray will give you more insightful understanding from his new book Intelligently Emotional to add to the insights from I’m a Keeper. His new two-book series, Your Child’s Emotional World, Parts 1 & 2 is also available to further your understanding and make the temperaments come alive again.
To get the most out of this presentation, it will be best if you are able to identify you and your spouse’s temperaments, as well as the temperaments of your children. You can find the keys to determine temperaments under the files section on the Darling Doubles Facebook page and they will also be attached to the meeting email invitation that is sent out a week prior to the meeting. If your children are under the age of two it may be difficult to determine their temperament but you can still take a peek at the keys to give you an idea!
