You may have recently heard this joke “June’s over? Julying!” and now we’re just days away from being closer to August than June. August brings us to the beginning of a new Darling Double’s year, because State and Federal fiscal years, Julian calendar years, and school years just aren’t enough. We’d like to invite you all to join us Monday, August 1st 7pm at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church to start your DD year off by reconnecting with your fellow DD moms.We’ve all been busy with the demands of summer whether that’s been juggling kids out of school, executing family vacations, or bringing home new babies. Hey, speaking of new babies, did you know that August is the highest birthrate month in the United States?!
At our August meeting we’ll take a time out from all those other demands and reconnect with our fellow moms. We’ve got some fun get to know each other activities planned to create new connections, foster old friendships, and inspire a few good laughs. We’ll also have a presentation by our Kid’s Stuff Sale coordinators to bring us all up to speed on our upcoming September sale and we’ll be filling backpacks for A Precious Child.
